Bajrang Dal rally
The Chandigarh chapter of the Bajrang Dal today staged a demonstration against the conversions by Christian missionaries in the country at the Sector 17 Piazza. Activists also burned an effigy of "politics" in protest of alleged absorbed corruption in it. The activists, numbering about 60, raised slogans against Christian missionaries and held placards asking the missionaries to leave India.

Eye camp held
As many as 134 patients were examined in a mega eye camp organised by the UT health department in collaboration with Citizens Awareness Group at Government Primary School Makhan Majra. Six patients were recommended for cataract surgery and 60 were advised refraction by a team of doctors headed by Dr Areet Kaur regard.
