Good response to women's helpline in Karnataka

BANGALORE, February 10: The Vanitha Sahayavani, a helpline for women in Karnataka, has been responsible for preventing six women from ending their lives, since its inception in January. The helpline has so far received over 400 calls. It has helped solve cases of eve-teasing and has also facilitated 135 reconcilliations between aggrieved parties.
