CTU conductors protest `callous' attitude of admn

EXPRESS NEWS SERVICE  
CHANDIGARH, Feb 24: A demonstration was held today by the C.T.U. Conductor's Union at Depot No. 3, in Sector 25 to protest the callous attitude of the administration towards their demands.

The demands of the employees include release of bonus for the year 1997-98, implementation of ticket notification, payment of pending overtime/T.A., payment in lieu of work on national holidays, among others. According to the general secretary of the union, Devinder Singh, the union members would be staging a mass dharna on March 9, at the bus stand in continuation of their protest.
