Bank strike
The United Forum of Bank Union comprising nine apex unions of workmen and officers have decided to go on a two-day strike on Thursday and Friday. More than 1,000 workers of the Reserve Bank on Wednesday held a demonstration here in support of demands of the forum and resolved to observe strike tomorrow.

The results of the election held on February 16 to elect members of the ``AIIMS Medical Record Staff Association'' (AMRSA) is as follows: Office Bearers: President: R.D. Malhotra, Vice-President: Lav Kush, General Secretary N.K. Sharma, Joint Secretary: N.S. Bisht, Treasurer: Raju Yohunna. Executives: P.D. Sharma, Ajab Singh, Devanand Sharma, Girish Chand, Piar Singh, M.S. Rawat, Geeta D. Pathobe and Naveen Kumar.

Rotary awards
Justice V.R.Krishna Iyer, former judge, Supreme Court and T.N. Chaturvedi, MP and former Comptroller and Auditor General of India have been chosen for the Rotary Manav Sena Awards 1999 ``for their crusade against political and administrative corruption''.

Inauguration
Indraprastha Vishwavidyalya will inaugurated by Chief Minister Sheila Dikshit at the Delhi College of Engineering campus at Kashmere gate. The university was established through an Act of the Delhi Legislative Assembly last year. The university plans to start graduate and under-graduate programmes from July '99.
