PR society hails bus diplomacy

NEW DELHI, Feb 24: Hailing Prime Minister Atal Behari Vajpayee's maiden journey to Pakistan, the Public Relations Society of India (PRSI), has said that public relations alone can play a crucial role in easing the tension between the two countries.

N.D. Rajpal, president of PRSI, said that the Prime Minster through his visit has not only demonstrated but affirmed that India's decision to conduct nuclear tests in Pokhran in May last year were indeed to ensure peace in the region. He said that the PSRI now looks forward to co-operation from its counterparts in Pakistan and extended the support for the cause on behalf of the organisation. The PSRI is an apex organisation of public relations professionals from all over the country.
