`Women, the Media and the Millennium,' a one-day workshop for young journalists, will be held on Saturday, January 27. The workshop aims to orient and sensitise young journalists to issues relevant to women at the turn of the millennium. The workshop will include 40 participants from English, Hindi, Marathi and Gujarati publications and will comprise presentations and interactive exercises on women's issues. The workshop will be at Methodist Centre, 21 YMCA Road (opp YMCA), Bombay Central, from 10 am to 5 pm.

Musical concert at Dombivli

n THE South Indian Association, Dombivli, is organising its golden jubilee celebration on February 27 at the Bharat Natya Mandir, Dombivli (West) at 6 pm. C Nithiyanantham, General Manager (Telecom), Kalyan Telecom, will be the chief guest at the musical extravaganza by Vinod Gidh's `Orchestra Zankar'. The proceeds of the concert will go towards the school building fund.
