The Adviser who visited Sector 27 and 28 to hear the grievances of the residents, said that the MC, however, could get the malba removed but the it must penalise the erring house owners.

He said a committee would soon be formulated by the MC with regard to the problem of digging by the telecom authorities. "The committee would see that if there is any delay in filling up of trenches by the telecom authorities, no further digging would be permitted until the old ones are filled in," he said.
