Two school boys stabbed

EXPRESS NEWS SERVICE
CHANDIGARH, Feb 26: Two plus two students of a local school were reportedly stabbed here this afternoon by some boys. The two have been admitted to the Sector 16 General Hospital where they are stated to be out of danger.

According to police sources, Rakesh Gulati and Anil Kumar went to the Sector 19 Government Model Senior Secondary School to get the former's examination Roll Number. When they were returning around 12.30 p.m., three boys waylaid them near the school and asked Rakesh about the whereabouts of a classmate of his. When they said they had no idea, this led to an altercation.

The boys, who stayed just nearby, brought a knife and attacked them. While Gulati sustained injuries in the head, Kumar was hit in the lower back.

Gulati and Anil are residents of Sector 27. The police have registered a case for causing hurt by dangerous weapons under Section 324 and 34 of the IPC. However, no arrests have been made so far.
