Film screenings to resume in PU
The decision to revive film show in the Panjab University campus was taken in a meeting held here today. The meeting was attended by Jatinder Chadha, convener, Film Society, Dean University Instructions, I.B.S. Passi, Dean Students Welfare R.S. Grewal and Public Relations Officer, Sanjiv Tiwari.

Interviews of cleaners postponed
The interview for the selection to the posts of cleaners on contract basis in the Panjab University fixed for March 5 has been postponed, according to an official spokesman of the university.

Demonstration held
A demonstration was staged by the employees of the Technical Department of Punjab government, today in Sector 17, opposite Udyog Bhawan. Gurbaksh Singh, president of the association said the government was showing laxity in implementing their demands which include the implementation of new pay scales as recommended by the pay commission.
