Strike called off

CHANDIGARH, MARCH 4: students of B. Pharmacy at Panjab University called off their indefinite hunger strike which started yesterday in front of the PU Vice-Chancellor's Office.The students, who were demanding 80 per cent reservation for B. Pharmacy students in M. Pharmacy, reached an agreement with Dean, University Instructions, I. B. S. Passi. Their demand will be put forward before the Syndicate at its next meeting. Presently, the B. Pharmacy students have 60 per cent reservation in the M. Pharmacy.
