Talking to newsmen here, Leader of the Opposition in the Vidhan Sabha Amarsinh Chaudhary reiterated the Congress party's stand that its Legislators will not participate in the proceedings until the suspension of their three colleagues was revoked.

He said he again had a meeting with Speaker Dhirubhai Shah and Bharatiya Janata Party chief whip Bharat Barot in this regard earlier in the day.

Three Congress legislators -- Naresh Rawal, Udesinh Barie and Khumansinh Choudhary -- were suspended for the entire session on the budget day, February 23, for what the BJP called, creating unruly scenes and resorting to rampaging in the House. Besides, the Speaker had also suspended other Opposition membersfor three working days. However, even after this period was over on Wednesday, the Opposition was boycotting the House demanding revocation of suspension of the three Congress members.
