Centre itching to disconnect TRAI
Angered by the recently announced increases in telephone tariffs by the Telecom Regulatory Authority of India (TRAI), which pinch the pockets of the poor and middle class sections of the society but are a bonanza for the richer and larger users, the government may consider amending the TRAI Act of 1997.
