The automotive and consumer exhibition inaugurated at the Parade Grounds today offers this and more.A range of the newly-launched along with the old models of cars are on display at the Parade Grounds. This includes Hyundai's Santro, Tata's Safari and the diesel model of Indica, Opel Astra, Ford Escort's diesel model - Orion and petrol model - Alpha.
With so many models on display, the rush of the interested and potential buyers increased at all stalls towards the evenings with many trying their hand at the wheel.
For the auto lovers a wide range of engine oils from Servo and Exide are also on display. Keeping up with the latest demand, security systems are also on display. Manufactured with a view to keep car thieves at bay, these remote controlled, central locking and security systems are available for anything between Rs 4,000 and Rs 5,000.
A range of consumer items by BPL, a range of models by LML Vespa including Supremo, Star, Sensation, NV Spl and Trendy are on display. Car accessories, music systems for cars - some allowing discount and some offering speakers free, besides towels, soft toys, jewellery are also on display at the exhibition.
