HC pulls up CBI in fodder case

PATNA, MARCH 13: Concerned by fresh moves to scuttle the probe into the multi-crore fodder scam, a division bench of the Patna High Court has instructed the CBI director to file an affidavit explaining the reasons for the slow progress of investigations.

The court rejected the CBI counsel's argument that the agency had already set up a special ``scam unit'' in the state to look into the case.
