Crime beat -- Chandigarh

Cars, bikes lifted
Ludhiana resident Vinod Bansal reported to the police that his Maruti car PB-10-K-2806 has been stolen from Sector 22 market. Rohit of Sector 43 reported that his motorcycle, HR-07-B-2484 has been stolen from the parking of Kiran cinema in Sector 22. Ferozepur district resident Sarbjeet Kaur complained her white Maruti car HR-03-A-3628 has been lifted from Sector 17. Mullanpur village resident Surinder Singh lost his black Bullet motorcycle CH-01-Y-4686, near Neelam theatre. The police have registered all the cases.

Assaulted
Manimajra resident Rajesh Kumar has reported that he was assaulted by some unknown persons while he was coming back from work. A case has been registered.

Raipur Khurd village resident Ram Bahadur has complained to the police that he has been cheated by Avtar Singh and Bhupinder Singh, agent and director respectively of Onkas Bhoomi Forest India limited. The police have registered a case.
