IA's summer schedule

MUMBAI, March 25: The Indian Airlines' summer schedule, which comes into force from March 29, will offer about 6,300 seats from Mumbai everyday to various destinations.

On the Mumbai/Delhi sector, IA passengers can choose between 10 flights in each direction on weekdays. There will be four flights by the hour between 6 and 9 am and in the evening between 5 and 8 pm. A new midday flight will also leave Mumbai at 1 pm everyday. The existing late night flight will operate only on weekdays, leaving Mumbai at 11 pm. In all, there are 68 flights a week in each direction on the Mumbai/Delhi sector. Onward connections will also be available for Mumbai passengers to travel to Shimla and Kulu via Delhi on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays. On the Mumbai/Chennai sector, with the introduction of a new flight everyday leaving Mumbai at 10 am, the airlines has increased its frequency from 14 to 21 flights a week. This new flight will operate daily upto Madurai. The airline has also linked Lucknow with Mumbai by an AirbusA320 flight everyday, leaving Mumbai at 7 am. Similarly, Patna and Ranchi have also been linked to Mumbai by a daily flight leaving Mumbai at 8 am and Calicut and Coimbatore linked to Delhi via Mumbai on all days, said a press release.
