Four minors reported missing

SURAT, March 25: Four minors are missing from different areas of the city, cases registered in city police stations on Thursday said. One Manilal Kanji Patel, a resident of Aakar Apartments in Prabhunagar area of Katargam, complained to the police that his two sons Hasmukh Patel (13) and Rohit Patel (11) were missing since Wednesday afternoon. The complainant told the police that both left the house at around nine am to attend Sulabh Tuition Classes, but did not return since. Attempts to trace them there had revealed that they left the coaching classes in the afternoon.

Patel also told the police that while the boys were carrying school bags with them, the eldest son was four-feet tall and the younger was about three-feet tall. The complainant could not specify if children had been kidnapped. Further investigations are on.

In another case registered at the Chowk Bazaar police station on Thursday evening, Jignesh alias Muktanand Patel (13) is reported missing since Wednesday evening. Bhawan, the boy's father, told the police that Jignesh had gone to Pundol Estate at around 6 pm on Wednesday to play and did not return since. Describibing the boy, Patel said that Jignesh was fair complexioned and four-feet six-inches tall and spoke only Gujarati.

Jigneshkumar Mohan Vanjhara (15), a class eight student is missing since Wednesday evening, the police said. Mohan Vanjhara, the boy's father, told the Katargam police that the boy had gone to Kuber Park School, Ved Road and did not return since. He was last spotted during the evening recess by his classmates, the police added.
