MUMBAI, March 25: Embrace responded well to jockey B Prakash and maintained the lead from 300m onwards to win The DF Karaka Trophy, 1600, the main event of 42nd day of the Mumbai meeting today at Mahalakshmi. Double Barrel and Orange King followed. Favourite Alcala performed miserably and failed to get a place in the frame.All the races were run on All Weather Track. Racegoers opined that on this track most of the winners were those who took commanding position after the bend. Only two races were captured by contenders who came from behind.
