Seven ex-PMs for Indo-Pak meet

NEW DELHI, MARCH 28: As many as seven former prime ministers from India and Pakistan, including Benazir Bhutto and I K Gujral, will be attending the second parliamentary conference from the two countries beginning here on April 30.

Prime Minister A B Vajpayee is likely to inaugurate the conference, according to Imtiaz Alam, editor of The News newspaper of Pakistan, which held the inaugural conference in Islamabad in February. He said the strong Pakistani representation would include Bhutto, Malik Meraj Khalid and Balakh Mustafa Jatoi, besides a number of senior journalists.

Former prime ministers Gujral, Chandra Shekhar, V P Singh and H D Deve Gowda, besides Vajpayee are also to attend.
