Organised by Gujarat Anusuchit Jati Vikas Nigam and Gujarat Safai Kamdar Vikas Board at Adarsh Vidyalaya, the function was also attended by senior government officials and local political leaders.

Speaking on the occasion Vaghela said that the State government was initiating a lot of measures to bring the backward class (BC) members in the main stream and uplift them. He also briefed the gathering about various welfare schemes and specially meant for BC students.
