MEERUT, March 28: Uttam Singh Mundy, enjoying his best season in the Wills Sport Indian Golf Tour, added a third title to his 1998-99 kitty when he won the AGC-Wills Meerut Open by a clear margin of four strokes at the Army Golf Course, today.At the par-72, 6,785-yard course, the twice Honda-Siel PGA champion from Calcutta shot a four-under 68 on the final day to aggregate 10-under 278 for the tournament to take home the winner's cheque of Rs 83,300. In second place at six-under 282 was the Indian Open runner-up Shiv Shankar Prasad Chowrasia, who shot a three-under 69 to finish ahead of Jyoti Randhawa and Sanjay Kumar, joint third at four-under 284. Chowrasia's earning for the week was Rs 55,550.
Delhi's Mohammed Maqbool and Feroz Ali (Calcutta) were joint fifth at three-under 285.
