Four held for abducting businessman's son

PRESS TRUST OF INDIA
RAJKOT, April 5: The Crime Branch police today arrested four members of a gang involved in the abduction of a city-based industrialist's son last Saturday.

The accused had allegedly demanded a ransom of Rs 20 lakh for Dushyant, the 18-year-old son of Rambhai Hinduja. Dushyant was kidnapped from near his house on the night of April 3, when he was returning home.

Commissioner of Police Sudhir Sinha told newspersons here today that the interrogation of Dushyant's friends, subsequent to his father lodging a complaint, gave police some clues.

Later, police arrested one Rajendrasinh, who revealed that Dushyant was confined in a room at a farm near Sanganava village of Lodhika taluka of the district.

Police arrived at the spot and cordoned off the farm. Three persons were arrested from the area.
