According to police, the couple, both of them drunk, had a quarrel last week and the wife Mangu after murdering her husband Amarbahi Tersang Nayak, hung his body on a tree claiming that Nayak had committed suicide.

However, the postmortem of the body confirmed it to be the case of murder, police said. A case under Sections 302 and 321 of the Indian Penal Code has been registered against the woman.
