Incriminating replay
People rushing home from work on Thursday evening to catch the Indian innings at Sharjah would have surely witnessed an unlikely sight. In lush green maidans and dusty footpaths alike, youngsters seemed more keen about getting a little batting practice than sitting bleary-eyed in front of the idiot box.

Finally, there's a chance India may be good at something. Given the country's propensity to add to the world's population, it appears there will be no dearth of babies born at the stroke of the midnight hour when the world sleeps on January 1, 2000.
