Paramjit, Tara joined by two others in fast-unto-death

EXPRESS NEWS SERVICE
CHANDIGARH, April 9: The condition of Paramjit Singh Bheowra and Jagtar Singh Tara, who entered the fifth day of fast unto death in protest against the denial of right for baptism, is reported to be deteriorating.

Even as Tara and Paramjit continue their fast, they were today joined by two other undertrials, namely, Baghel Singh and Jaswant Singh Sidhu.

According to sources, the fasting undertrials have decided not to relent until allowed to get baptised.

It may be recalled that the fast unto death by Tara and Paramjit was declared here on April 5 after UT District and Sessions Judge dismissed their applications seeking permission for baptism.
