The assemblage got to see Shah's kites that had wowed the world over. His Krishna and gopis danced in the sky along with some geometric patterns that performed acrobatics. There was a long-spiralling one that got off the hook, giving anxious moments to security officials as they awaited the helicopter carrying Punjab Chief Minister Prakash Singh Badal to land at the nearby helipad. Some of the enterprising ones had brought their own kites along and joined Shah. It was one of those days when everyone's spirits soared over life's hustle-hustle.
