DSO Singh transferred
In an unexpected development, District Supply Officer Ashok Singh was transferred to the department's enforcement wing in Gandhinagar on Sunday within a year of his posting in Vadodara. Though Civil Supplies Minister Jaspal Singh termed it as ``routine'', insiders say the transfer followed complaints about the department's defunctioning. When contacted, the DSO expressed ignorance about his transfer. He is being replaced by D G Kachhar from Gandhinagar enforcement wing.T Y BCom exams
The T Y BCom examinations, MSU begin from Monday. According to the revised schedule, the Business Organisation and Management Paper III will be on Monday, Principles of Economics Paper II on April 13, Mercantile Law on April 15, Indian Economics Problems on April 17, Special subjects Paper III and special subjects Paper II on April 19 and 20 respectively.
`Good Luck'
A `Good Luck India,' book will be placed at the Chandarva Hall of Hotel Welcomgroup on April 14 from 10 am to 7 pm. The book will be open for all Barodians to convey their best wishes to the Indian Cricket team for the World Cup. Launched in Mumbai on April 9, the book will pass through five cities before being handed over to the team.
