The show started an hour late and Bollywood actor and director Mangal Dhillon, who was supposed to be the chief guest, could not make it. Veenu Kautish initiated the programme with a ghazal that sounded more like a song. The second number presented by Brijesh Ahuja was a mite better. The instruments tended to drown the vocals. Other singers included Rinku Kalia, Kanchan Kulkarni, Neelam Chauhan and Rajarsh.
