MUMBAI, APRIL 11: Hindustan Aeronautical Limited, Bangalore (HAL), will lock horns with Indian Air Force, Delhi (IAF), in the inaugural second division National Football League match at Cooperage tomorrow. Rialsima Tigers will play Vasco of Goa in the second match.HAL finished second to Indian Telephone Industries (ITI) in the Karnataka league this season. Their mid-field is manned by Murali and Xavier, members of the Indian junior team. The strike force comprises Dayanand -- known for his deadly runs -- and Sunil Sr -- a prolific scorer. Manager Devraj said, ``Ours is a young team comprising most of national players. The average age of the team is around 23 years. And we are sure of putting up a good show.'' The IAF team management was not available for the comment.
The Vasco team management had questioned the All-India Football Federation (AIFF) a month before on the issue of the players' transfer dates. AIFF had, since, changed the dates.
Vasco finished fourth in the Goan League while RailsimaTigers are second in the yet-to-finish Andhra Pradesh league.
