3-yr-old boy dies in sewer
A three-year-old boy fell into a sewer in Anand Vihar and died on Monday morning. He was subsequently identified as Bittu, son of Shish Pal, a resident of gali no. 5 in Arya Nagar. The sewer was being cleaned by Municipal Corporation of Delhi employees when Bittu fell in. He died on the spot.Driver robbed
Sushil Kumar, an auto-rickshaw driver and resident of Sangam Vihar, was robbed near M B Road on Monday when he was taking his vehicle towards Hamdard Nagar late on Sunday evening. One of the youths was caught. Sushil Kumar told the police that his auto was stopped by four youths who forcibly got in and robbed him at knife-point. According to the police, the youths then went to Govindpuri in south Delhi. As they threatened one shopkeeper, Rajpal Singhal, he raised an alarm.
