Centralised assessment for SGU final examinations

EXPRESS NEWS SERVICE
SURAT, April 13: South Gujarat University has decided to introduce centralised assessment for the final year examinations of B. A., B. Com. and B. Sc. The decision was taken on Monday at a meeting, held under the Chairmanship of Vice-Chancellor Premkumar Sharda to discuss alleged irregularities in the examination system.

The system has been introduced on an experimental basis. Answer scripts from all B. A., B. Com. and B. Sc. centres will be brought to the university office where stickers will be pasted on them to cover the centre's location and student's roll number.

Such answer scripts will then be mixed and sent to different centres for assessment.

Head of Physics Department Dr B I Sheth has been made in-charge of the centralised assessment system. He will also supervise the process of transporting answer scripts to various centres.
