MUMBAI, APRIL 13: Abbra (Anvari (GB) - Halloween), owned by Vijay Mallya, trained by Mrs Patty Sercombe and ridden by champion African jockey, Steve Njuguna, cantered to an easy win in the 1999 Kenya Derby which was run at the Ngong race course On April 11, according to a release.
This is the second successive year that Mallya has a winner in the Kenyan Derby. Last year's Derby was won by Albertini, also ridden by Njuguna.
