Man held with silver at CST

EXPRESS NEWS SERVICE  
MUMBAI, APRIL 14: The Chhatrapati Shivaji Terminus railway police today arrested a person carrying 40 kg of silver valued at Rs 3.27 lakh.

According to the railway police control, the accused, Suresh Jaynarahan Sharma (24), a Bhiwandi resident, was moving in a suspicious manner after placing a steel trunk near the CST main line ticket booking office at 10.40 am.

The railway police constables approached Sharma, who failed to answer their queries.

Police discovered the silver slabs when they opened the trunk.

Sharma has been detained for interrogation.
