Missile muscle
The launch of one Pakistani missile in answer to Agni-II was expected. The display of two in quick succession, the Ghauri-II and Shaheen, perhaps not. But expected or otherwise, the exercises are telling.
The crisis is a test for Sonia
What is the Congress about to gain from the current crisis? Remember the Ides of March, 1998? The BJP and the Congress had emerged as the two largest parties, in that order. Smaller parties were rallying aro-und these two columns.
Leading to nowhere
Whatever may be the outcome of the debate on the confidence motion in the Lok Sabha, the Congress has clearly failed to live up to its own commitments and people's expectations.
