The girl was allegedly raped on April 13 and the suspected person placed under arrest by Army authorities the same evening. The Army has also ordered a court of inquiry which is under progress, the sources said.

Defence sources here said that the Army authorities have assured the local civil administration that the culprit would be severely dealt with under the Army act if the allegation was proved true.
