EXPRESS NEWS SERVICE
NEW DELHI, April 15: A 15-year-old student hanged herself with a dupatta on Thursday night in east Delhi's Anand Vihar after she failed her re-examination. Prachi Arora, a student of Class IX in Alcohn Public School, Mayur Vihar, Phase I, had appeared for the test in the morning and had returned home depressed saying that she had not performed well. Her father, Kailash Arora, a dealer in readymade garments, was not at home when his daughter committed suicide.

At 4.30 pm she was found dead at her residence in 114, Hargovind Enclave, the police said. She had shut herself in the bathroom attached to her bedroom and hanged herself with her dupatta.
