Industry nervous over bills, economy
Panicky over perpetual political instability, Corporate India has sought early installation of a new government to ensure speedy clearance of the Union budget for 1999-2000 and to end the ongoing political crisis, saying it was detrimental to foreign direct investment and economic growth.
Maruti to fit CNG on all its vehicles
As part of its green city drive, Maruti Udyog Limited is working towards fitting compressed natural gas kits on all its petrol-driven vehicles, including its bread-and-butter car 'Maruti 800'. The company has already drawn up plans to promote CNG vehicles in Delhi in the current fiscal.
Rupee may fall below 43 level
The rupee is likely to fall below the 43 level against dollar next week following the defeat of the BJP-lead coalition government in the vote of confidence.
