HC asks govt to submit affidavit on Mendonca

APRIL 20: The Bombay High Court today directed that the state submit an affidavit listing the criminal records as well as pending criminal cases against the former president of the Mira Bhayender Municipal Council, Gilbert Mendonca.Justice P S Patankar passed the order following the bail application of Mendonca, who is at present in prison facing charges of criminal assault on Bhayender president of Janata Dal, Milan Mhatre.
