CHANDIGARH, April 20: Two students have been arrested for their alleged involvement in a case of attempt to outrage the modesty of two S. A. S. Nagar women more than a week ago. While Sector 37 resident Yashandeep is doing Master's in Business Administration from Punjabi University, Sector 40 resident Harkamal is a BA student at the local D. A. V. College. Police said that the two were being interrogated.The police also have the names of two other persons allegedly involved in the incident and efforts are on to nab them.
Six persons are said to be involved in the incident which took place in the wee hours of April 12. The two women had alleged that they were forcibly taken in cars by the men who allegedly tried to outrage their modesty. One of the men was armed with a pistol. The women had met the men outside a discotheque where they sought the help of the two to enter the disco.
