Among the injured are Ramkumar, Bhuriya, Preeta, Sandhya, Tejpant and Dhaniram. The mishap occurred when these labourers were giving final touches to the ceiling of the building and the ceiling suddenly caved in burying the labourers underneath.

Prompt rescue efforts by the fire personnel saved their lives. They were evacuated to the nearest hospitals and later 10 of them were discharged after treatment.
