Wine shop employee robbed of Rs 2 lakh

MUMBAI, APRIL 23: An employee of a wine shop in Prabhadevi was today robbed of Rs two lakh by four armed men. At around 1.45 pm on Friday, the said employee was carrying cash worth Rs two lakh in a bag from the wine shop to the Central Bank of India to deposit it.Suddenly, while he was in front of Bhavna Building on the Veer Savarkar Marg, four unidentified men sprang out of a Maruti car and attacked him with a chopper and injured his hand. They immediately decamped with the cash bag. Dadar police is investigating the case. According to eyewitnesses, this is the third such incident in Prabhadevi.
