NAGPUR, April 23: The Government of Maharashtra will launch a concerted `Family Health Awareness' drive in eight selected districts between April 26 and May 1.Besides Nagpur, the other seven districts where the drive will be conducted are Amravati, Aurangabad, Nashik, Thane, Pune, Kolhapur and Sangli.
The week-long programme, the first of its kind in the State, is meant exclusively for rural areas. Health check-up camps will be organised separately for men and women in the age group of 15 to 49 years.
