The winners took an early lead when both Ubed Shaikh and Faisal Shaikh found their mark consistently. Savios could not match the speed of their opponents and trailed 7-16 in the first quarter. The second quarter sealed Savios' hope as they could score only two points against 13 scored by Mastan. Mastan with a lead of 29-9 at the breather then completed the formality with much ease. Savios being runners-up in this group also qualified for the knock-out stage.

Holders NNH boys also made it to the last eight stage when they toyed with Agnel Gym A 34-5. Agnel Gym A had earlier lost to Good Counsel (5-21) yesterday.
