Programme on child labour

EXPRESS NEWS SERVICE
VADODARA, April 27: With a view to creating awareness in the public on child labour and its prevention, a group of Non Government Organisations (NGOs) will organise a cultural programme here at the Faculty of Home Science Auditorium, M S University, on Friday.

To be organised jointly by World Vision India, Shishu Milap, Vikas Jyot, Aantarbharati, Urban Resource Centre and Savdesh, the programme is also aimed at providing an opportunity to child labourers to express their ideas on the issue and bring out hidden talents among the children.

One of the aims is also to bring the voluntary organisations on a common platform for making collective efforts to check child labour.
