Key chain leads cops to accused

EXPRESS NEWS SERVICE
NEW DELHI, April 27: The Delhi Cantonment police have arrested two persons for murder, basing their investigation on a key ring found on the person of the dead man, Raj Kumar. Raj Kumar's body was found on Ring Road near the police station on April 23. A key ring found in his trousers helped the police identify the dead youth as Raj Kumar of Nangloi.

The address on the key ring was that of a trader in West Delhi. The trader told the police that Raj Kumar, an employee of his friend Rajiv Bansal, was missing. Bansal was a share broker, who said that Raj Kumar met several people daily on his behalf to recover money. The interrogation of the people he met when he was last seen led to the arrest of Manprit Singh and his brother Preet Singh of Janakpuri.

Both of them had bought shares from Bansal and the recent downslide in the market had hit them badly, police said. The pressure from Raj Kumar to pay up led to the crime, they said.
