It's murder, not mishap

PUNE, April 30: The post-mortem report of a man's body - found at Waki village near Chakan on Thursday - has revealed that he was murdered.

The body of the 50-year-old man was found lying at a vacant plot in Waki village on April 10. Police have not been able to ascertain his identity due to lack of clues. The post-mortem has revealed that the man was murdered. The identities of the killers and the motive behind the murder could not be known till late night.

The incident had initially gone as a case of accidental death in the records of Chakan police.
