BANGALORE, April 30: Women organisations of the city, under the banner of Sanmathi, protested against an upcoming housing complex on the banks of river Arkavathy which feeds the Thippagondanahalli reservoir, a major source of drinking water to the city. The organisations also threatened to intensify the stir if the government did not take steps to protect the reservoir.
