Training course for PCS judicial exam introduced

PATIALA, May 4: The IAS and Allied Services Training Centre at Punjabi University, Patiala, will start a two-month course for PCS Judicial Examination from May 17 for the candidates interested to appear in this examination to be conducted by PPSC.

According to Dr G. S. Bajwa, director of the centre, interested law graduates may apply on prescribed form available from the office latest by May 7. The interview for admission will take place at 10 a.m. on May 12. He added in the last selection, out of 54 selected candidates, 38 were trainees of this centre. Sangat Darshan A total of 11 out of the 30 complaints aired during the Sangat Darshan programme being organised here at the office of the Deputy Commissioner were addressed on the spot.

The sangat darshan was presided over by the Deputy Commissioner Jasbir Singh Bir. Bir referred the remaining complaints to the concerned officials of different departments. Most of the complaints were against the encroachments on the shamlat lands and other common lands in the villages.
