State Governor Sunder Singh Bhandari has convened a meeting of vice-chancellors of universities of the state on Wednesday in Gandhinagar to discuss several issues including financial condition of the universities, uniformity in university laws, and a proposal to convert the one-year B.Ed course into two years.
HoD removed
M S University on Tuesday passed orders removing Sushil Shrivastava as the officiating head of the History Department and officiating co-ordinator of the University Grants Commission's Special Assistance Programme. Sources said the university would consult legal opinion on the removal of Shrivastava as teacher.
