CHANDIGARH, May 4: Akshay Vishal Roa of Chandigarh will represent the country in the ITF Junior tennis tournament to be held in Europe from June 26 to August 1. According to press release, Akshay will play matches in Holland, Germany and Switerland.Recently, another tennis player from the city Sunil Kumar was selected to represent the country in the NEC World Youth tennis tournament held in Japan where the Indian team finished seventh out of 18 countries.
Summer camps
The Chandigarh Sports Department will organise summer coaching camps in various discipline of sports from May 10 to 26. The camps will be conducted for boys and girls below the age of 19. There will be one training session in the camps.
